Chris has been a member of Washington Hebrew Congregation since 2012 when he began the journey of fulfilling a lifetime goal and became a Jew by Choice through conversion with Rabbi Miller. The Introduction to Judaism (now 12 Jewish Questions) class led by Rabbi Miller quickly became a group of friends that continue to bring joy today. His initial engagement with Couples Club encouraged his partner and him to serve as co-chairs of the group for the past eight years.
Chris is a senior government relations advisor for Florida-based law firm GrayRobinson, helping clients navigate public policy challenges. He has worked in lobbying and advocacy for over 12 years. After graduating from Fordham University, he moved to D.C. to work on Capitol Hill, where he became chief of staff to Congressman Joseph Crowley (D-NY) and Congressman Michael McMahon (D-NY).
He serves on the board of the Jewish Community Relations Council of Washington, the board of Tzedek D.C. and as political vice vhair for AIPAC’s Washington D.C. group. Together for 21 years, Chris and his partner enjoy traveling and being with friends and family.
