Religious School Reboot

Mondays at 7:00 pm at Temple Part of Mondays@Macomb

Did you attend religious school as a child, but sometimes feel like your Jewish education stalled at age 13?

Did you never have the opportunity to attend religious school and want to share in that formative experience?

Do you experience deja vu when your kids come home on Sundays and share what they’ve learned?

Are you looking for a community of people at WHC with whom you can refresh your Jewish knowledge and reinvigorate your sense of Jewish identity?

Religious School Reboot does not require any previous background in Judaism or Hebrew. It is designed so that anyone, regardless of background, can gain a broader scope and deeper understanding of our sacred tradition.

Religious School Reboot is an introductory overview class designed for adults who hope to gain a broader foundation of our 3,500-year-old tradition. This 10-week course will (re)introduce you to Judaism’s most transformative texts, people, theological and historical trends, holidays, and more. Religious School Reboot is a reintroduction to everything you may (or may not) have learned in religious school, now in a course designed for adults.

Whether you’ve forgotten what you learned in religious school, or never attended religious school in your youth, then we hope you will join this new lifelong learning community at WHC.

This course will cost $250 for WHC members; $300 for non-members.

It will run from October 21 – December 23.

Each class will also include dinner and drinks!
