The sound and style of Shabbat at WHC has changed dramatically over the years. If you have been a member for long enough, you likely remember when the only Hebrew in our Shabbat services was when we recited Sh’ma and only the choir and cantors sang. Now Hebrew is in nearly every prayer and the whole congregation is invited to sing all the time! We have introduced many new melodies and much more Hebrew, as has the rest of the Reform Movement, into our services. If you want to learn some of those new melodies, get more familiar with the new style, and be able to participate more fully in our spirited worship at WHC, join Cantor Hamstra for this month’s lunch and learn!

Cost is $18 for WHC members, $25 for all others.
