Yet again, we find ourselves in a difficult time for the Jewish people. Our ancestors lived through crisis after crisis, and we have the Jewish texts to prove it. Join Rabbi Fischel for this 6-week series as we dive into some of the more morally complex texts in the Jewish canon. We will cover such topics as: Why do innocent people suffer? Can we rejoice in victory, even while others are hurt? Why is it a Jewish imperative to return hostages? How do we move forward with trauma?

This session of the Wednesday Study Group will continue to meet virtually at 1:00 pm on Zoom, from Wednesday, August 7 through Wednesday, September 11. We will then take a bit of a break for the High Holy Days and resume in the fall.
