Join 2239 for a tour of the Prayer and Transcendence exhibit at DC’s Textile Museum.

This program will take place at the Textile Museum (701 21st St NW, Washington, DC 20052) Closest metro station is Farragut West or Foggy Bottom.

The Museum will be displaying classical prayer rugs from the Islamic world and design comparisons from Jewish traditions as part of this springtime exhibit. We will explore both Jewish and Muslim patterns in prayer rugs and be guided in this Shabbat experience by 2239’s Rabbi Fischel.
