This free event is designed to reduce children’s concerns and fears over doctor’s visits and routine medical procedures. With a mix of play and creative activities, our early childhood specialists and clinicians promote sense of empowerment and comfort in an engaging, playful, and supportive environment. Growing Minds invites children from Washington Hebrew Congregation and their families, to bring their favorite teddy bear or stuffed animal for a check-up and a vaccination. Parents are provided with helpful strategies for supporting their child and opportunities to talk with our staff about questions and concerns.
