With in-person and at-home options available, don’t miss this unique opportunity to join forces with volunteers in the interfaith community to help those in need.

In-Person Volunteer Opportunities

  • Hunger Packing (Ages 8+)

  • No-sew Blankets
  • Spinach Lasagnas Casseroles
  • Toiletry Baggies; Feminine Hygiene Products

  • Turkey Sandwich Making
  • Undies for Everyone
  • Vegetable Chopping (Ages 6+)

At-Home Projects to Drop Off on the Day of Service

Snack Pack Making: You can make your own snack packs using the shopping list below (don’t worry if you can’t find every item on the list), or donate $18 per bag and we’ll do the shopping for you. Here’s what we’re looking for:

Cup of Noodles
Cereal Cups/Packs
Individual Fruit Cups
Instant Oatmeal Cups
Soft Grain Bars/Granola Bars
“Snacking” Soups”
Tuna and Cracker Packets
Cereal Bars (Kind Breakfast, NutriGrain Bars, etc.)
Sandwich Cracker Packs

Projects You Can Do at Home at Anytime

Drop off during normal business hours at Temple or JBSC.

  • Blanket Making Kits As the temperatures continue to drop, we always need help assembling our no-sew blankets. Perfect for kids and adults of all ages, these will be given to Interfaith Works and Iona — who will distribute them into the community to help keep people warm during the winter months. To request supplies, please contact Lauren Lieberman.
