Join the WHC ECCs and Growing Minds Therapy for a discussion on supporting bathroom independence in your young children. Learning to use the toilet is an important developmental stage for each child and the start of building a healthy relationship with your body. This talk will review the signs that your child is developmentally ready to begin learning to use the toilet, how parents and caregivers can support the transition from diapers to bathroom independence, and what we want to avoid in this process.

We understand that each child and family may approach this transition differently, and the therapists from Growing Minds are here to answer questions, discuss any red flags, and help ensure that your child has a positive relationship with using the bathroom! This talk is for parents and caretakers of children who are still in diapers and those at different stages of bathroom independence.
