Learn to speak Hebrew — or practice and improve your fluency — without having to master the aleph-bet. This innovative method will have you speaking in the first class, and the ability to read or write in Hebrew is not necessary.

We offer classes for every level. Not sure which is best for you?

For our Spring 2023 Semester, Conversational Hebrew classes will meet on Zoom at the following times:

  • Mondays at 10am – Intermediate
  • Mondays at 4pm – Intermediate
  • Mondays at 5:30pm – Beginner/Intermediate
  • Tuesdays at 10am – Intermediate
  • Tuesdays at 11:30am – Beginner
  • Wednesdays at 5:30pm – Intermediate/Advanced
  • Thursdays at 10am – Advanced

A link to access the course will be provided upon registration.

Classes begin the week of April 17 and will continue for 8 weeks. Classes will skip the week of May 29.

Conversational Hebrew Fall 2024 Registration

COURSE DESCRIPTION

This class uses an innovative method that emphasizes conversation over decoding the aleph-bet. You'll find yourself speaking Hebrew at your very first class. The ability to read Hebrew is not necessary or required to participate.


This course costs $65 per person for WHC members; $80 per person for non-members.


For Fall 2024, classes will be offered on a variety of dates and times starting the week of September 16.


This course will meet online, via Zoom. A link to access your course each week will be provided upon registration.
