Home > Events > Connect > Celebrate Summer with Jews of Color and their Families
We invite you to come out and celebrate the summer and the Jewish holiday of Tu B’Av or “Jewish Valentines Day” with other Jews of Color and their families in the EDCJCC parking lot. Join us for a cookout, s’mores, music, art, and more. This is a great way to get to know other Jews of Color and multiracial families in the DMV – Jewish, Jew-ish, interfaith, and everything in between! Feel free to invite friends – this is an open space for anyone who would like to be in community with us.
When: Thursday, August 11, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM
Where: The Edlavitch DC Jewish Community Center’s parking lot
COVID-19 Info: Currently, masks in public spaces at the EDCJCC are optional but we encourage and embrace everyone to do what feels best and most safe for themselves and their families. Proof of vaccination is required to enter the building for everyone over the age of 12.
Questions? Contact Sonya Weisburd at sonyaw@edcjcc.org
