Local experts, clergy, and others will facilitate these dialogues, exploring critical issues related to Israel. These conversations offer participants the opportunity to engage with different perspectives and gain a deeper understanding of this dynamic nation. Whether you are well-versed in Israeli affairs or are just beginning to explore this topic, these conversations promise to be enlightening and thought-provoking.

October 9 — Rabbi Sue Shankman and Rabbi Rachel Schmelkin: “Setting the Stage.” SPECIAL GUEST: Israeli Embassy’s Counselor for Political Affairs Nadav Zysblat. Zysblat previously served as Advisor to the Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (2018-2020), Deputy Consul General of Israel in Shanghai (2104-2018), and a desk officer at the North-East Asia Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Prior to joining the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Nadav held positions in Israel’s largest law firm, and in the International School for Holocaust Studies at Yad Vashem, Israel’s National Holocaust Remembrance Center.
