Senior Cantor Susan Bortnick and Cantor Suzanne Hamstra will be joined by Senior Cantor Michael Shochet of Temple Rodef Shalom and Cantor Emerita Laura Croen of Temple Sinai to honor the music and legacy of Stephen Sondheim. The concert was previously performed at both Temple Sinai and Temple Rodef Shalom before making its way to WHC. It was first created in 2022 to honor Sondheim’s music after his death the previous year. The cantors will be joined by Neil Weston on piano, Daniel Brown on bass, and Joey Antico on drums.

The concert will be held at the Julia Bindeman Suburban Center on December 3 at 5:00 pm. Light fare will be served.

Pre-purchased tickets are $18 for WHC Members, and $36 for Non-members. Online sales close Friday, December 1 at noon.

Tickets will be available at the door, $25 for WHC Members and $45 for Non-members.
