Every family is unique, and we welcome each one warmly and fully into our community. We are here to be your partner and a resource for life cycle events, developmental milestones, and all things Jewish life. We also love to facilitate connections and offer so many opportunities for you to meet other families and create your own special community within Washington Hebrew Congregation. If you would like to explore additional entry points for engaging, or just learn more about our community, please contact Jen Millstone, our Director of Member Engagement.
Our monthly Shabbat morning experiences on the 3rd Saturday of every month are perfect for families with young children! Our gatherings will include a meaningful musical experience, opportunities for kids to run and play indoors (so no need for bug spray or sunscreen — you’re welcome!), and of course, bagels.

This all-levels total-body conditioning workout is designed for caregivers with kids in tow. Each 60-minute workout consists of strength training, cardio, and core restoration, all while entertaining the little ones with songs, activities, and fun! Your instructor is trained to meet you where you are mentally and physically and create space for caregivers to build community.
Mondays at 9:30 am at Temple
Held twice each month, these evenings begin with an engaging, interactive Tot Shabbat service, which lasts about a half-hour and teaches Jewish prayers, traditions, and rituals through songs, stories, and art projects.
Following the service, stick around for a lovely dinner.
