Life Cycle Policies

Members

  • Our clergy are available to officiate at life cycle events, including brit milah, baby namings, consecration, b’nei mitzvah, confirmation, weddings, and funerals for members, their spouse, and their children who are under the age of 30. We request that members who have a WHC clergy officiate at one of these life cycle events make a donation to WHC.
  • Our clergy are available to officiate at the funeral and/or shiva for a member’s immediate family. This includes a member’s parent, adult child over the age of 30, or sibling. There is a required fee for these services.
  • Our clergy are available to officiate at the brit milah and/or baby naming for a member’s grandchild. We request that members make a donation to WHC for this service.
  • Our clergy are available to officiate at the wedding of a member’s adult child who is over the age of 30. There is a required fee for this service.

Non-Member Young Adult (2239)

Rabbi Miller and Rabbi Fischel, who lead our 2239 auxiliary for young professionals, are available to officiate at the wedding of a 2239 participant.

There is a required fee for this service.
