To honor Rabbi Shankman’s official installation as senior rabbi, in addition to a Mother’s Day celebration for all the moms in the Washington Hebrew Congregation community.

This will be a casual drop-in event. Families are welcome!

This event is free, but RSVP is requested so we know how many to expect.

UPDATE! We will also be collecting items for I Support the Girls. I Support the Girls (ISTG) collects and distributes essential items, including bras, underwear, and menstrual hygiene products, allowing women and folx experiencing homelessness, impoverishment, or distress to stand tall with dignity. Collection bins will be available at Temple and JBSC from Friday, May 5 – Sunday, May 14.
