WE INVITE YOU TO END THE WEEK AND WELCOME SHABBAT WITH US!

NOTE: This is a special Macomb St. Shabbat, as we will officially install Cantor Suzanne Hamstra. Guest Cantors Richard Cohn and Rebecca Moses will also join in the ceremony.

6:00 pm: Snack, Sip, and Schmooze (S3) & Shot of Torah (Torah Study)

• SNACK — Hot appetizers, cheese, crackers, and fruit! Perfect for families looking to feed their kids before the service. This week’s menu includes:
  • Moussaka (vegan Lebanese eggplant “lasagna”)
  • Lentil & Vegetable Soup
  • Spanakopita (vegan)
  • Veggie & Dip Platter
  • Chicken Kabob Trays
• SIP — Beer, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks will be available.
• SCHMOOZE — This half-hour is a great time to connect with the people around you! And kids will also be engaged with giant Connect 4 and Jenga, cornhole games, a coloring table, and other arts & crafts activities.

6:30 pm: Shabbat service

7:30 pm: Celebratory Oneg Shabbat in Honor of Cantor Hamstra

• Fig & Goat Cheese Crostini
• Mushroom Cigars
• Falafel, Hummus, and Pita Display
• Beef, Chicken, and Vegetable Shish Kabobs
• Tabbouleh Salad
• Lamb Samosas
• Chocolate Cups w/ Raspberry Mousse
• Traditional & Chocolate-Dipped Baklava
• (plus some of our standard in-house items)
