Home > Events > Worship > LGBTQ+ Pride & Awareness Metro Minyan for ALL Ages
For the first time, WHC’s LGBTQ+ affinity group and our 2239 young professionals are teaming up for a very special event, and ALL are welcome! Regardless of age, how you identify, or if you’ve ever been to a 2239 service before, YOU are invited to this meaningful evening where we will reflect on the diversity in our own WHC Jewish community, show support for our LGBTQ+ loved ones, and come together for a beautiful Shabbat service layered with music, passion, and love.
A casual Schmooze & Sip at 6:30 pm will proceed our special Kabbalat Shabbat service starting at 7:15 pm, and we will culminate the evening in a very Metro Minyan style with dinner and s’mores outside by our fire pits! Allies of the community are welcome and encouraged to join us. Please spread the word to anyone you know who identifies as LGBTQ+ and may be looking for acceptance and community within a Jewish context.
COST (For dinner only, services are no charge): $18 for adult community members, $10 for those under 18.
