The theft of Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa from its home in The Louvre in Paris in 1911 is one of the world’s most infamous heists. It’s also the subject of best-selling author Jonathan Santlofer’s latest novel, The Last Mona Lisa. Santlofer will join us via Zoom on Friday, February 25 at 11:00 am to take us on a deep dive inside this gripping new book.
A story of heart-stopping suspense as romantic and sexy as it is terrifying and thrilling, The Last Mona Lisa taps into our universal fascination with da Vinci and explores the people so driven to acquire priceless works of art that they will stop at nothing to possess them – not even murder!
Hailed as one of the “Best Thrillers of 2021” by NBC’s Today Show, The Last Mona Lisa brings together past and present with fascinating characters and plot twists that are impossible to see coming.
