This Shabbat, Washington Hebrew Congregation proudly joins the National Council of Jewish Women and hundreds of other Jewish organizations this weekend in celebrating Repro Shabbat — a weekend that calls attention to women’s health care and abortion access.

Joining us for this special service will be Shira Zemel and Glenn Northern — the Co-Directors of 73Forward, National Council of Jewish Women’s newly launched abortion access campaign.

The goal of 73Forward is simple: to share a clear, collective and Jewish framework to increase on-the-ground access to abortion care for anyone who needs it.  Shira and Glenn will speak about Judaism and abortion and how we can act to ensure that every person has the right to make their own decisions about their own bodies and futures.
