We will use Dr. Erica Brown’s commentary, Esther: Power, Fate, and Fragility in Exile to explore how the Book of Esther can inform modern issues of anti-Semitism, feminism, personal identity, and leadership. Perhaps we too will discover that we were “born for just a time as this” (Esther 4:14).
