Over the Summer, we will be looking at different passages from Rabbi Alan Lew’s book, This is Real and You’re Completely Unprepared: The Days of Awe as a Journey of Transformation. This iconic text will take us through the spiritual journey of the High Holidays. We will begin with the month of Elul, the month leading up to the holidays, and end with Simchat Torah, the last of the many holidays we have in the Fall. Our exploration will focus on, not on what each of these holidays are, but rather, how they can help us become the people we want to be.

No need to buy the book, but it is a good read if you’d like.
