Backpack Collection Project for Friendship Place

Washington Hebrew Congregation is collecting backpacks, including necessary school supplies, for 15 DMV-area preschool-aged students through Friendship Place’s Neighbors First Families program. If you would like to donate one or more bags, please click here to register and get the list of needed supplies. Donations should be dropped off at the Temple or the Julia Bindeman Suburban Center no later than MONDAY, JULY 31.

• 1 backpack
• 1 bottle of white, liquid glue
• 1 1arge, eraser
• 2 glue sticks
• 1 box of crayons
• 1 box of markers or colored pencils
• #2 pencils
• 2 dry-erase markers
• 1 pair of safety scissors
• 1 small school box or zipper pouch for school supplies
• 2 two-pocket folders
