Whether you are furloughed, working without pay, or otherwise affected by the ongoing Government shutdown, we know this may be a stressful time.
As a member of WHC, you have access to the Federal Furlough Loan Program. This program, organized by the Hebrew Free Loan Association of Greater Washington and supported by WHC, can provide up to $2,000 in immediate, interest-free money to current federal employees affected by the shutdown.
Additionally, please do not hesitate to be in touch regarding any payments due to WHC during this difficult time. Please contact our Executive Director Steve Jacober if you would like to suspend payments during the shutdown or if you would like more information on other area programs available to federal workers.
Please also be assured that all conversations related to financial assistance or other support from WHC will be kept confidential.
