This week, more than 5,000 Reform Jewish clergy, professionals, and lay leaders are gathering in Boston for the Union for Reform Judaism (URJ) Biennial, a five-day conference that helps shape the future of the Reform Movement.
The Biennial’s plenary sessions energize and inspire all attendees to repair our world, contribute to the continuing evolution of our Movement, and define 21st-century Jewish thought. In her remarks at yesterday’s plenary session, Daryl Messinger – one of the Movement’s foremost leaders and Chair of the North American Board of Trustees of the URJ – commended WHC President David Astrove’s Rosh Hashanah speech and played a clip of it for all Biennial attendees to see.
We are honored to share that David was also confirmed as a new member of the URJ North American Board of Trustees. Yasher Koach (congratulations), David! You continue to make WHC proud.
