Help children in need this fall by providing backpacks and school supplies to Friendship Place. Formerly known as the Community Council for the Homeless, Friendship Place is a leader in fighting homelessness and supporting formerly homeless individuals and families in our community. As a charter member, WHC has been involved with many Friendship Place initiatives, and we, along with other area congregations, are answering the call now to help 120 children by filling backpacks with items they need for the upcoming school year by Monday, August 17.
